Slides from the launch webinar for mFarmer, a new mobile platform for smallholder farmers in South East Asia. Grow Asia, in partnership with Unilever and Facebook, is launching an open-source mobile platform for smallholder farmers. The platform aims to be a one-stop shop for smallholders to gather relevant Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), access markets, and access financing. The platform is available at no-cost to farmers to facilitate their usage. Access to the platform is open so members can leverage their existing technology supplier and exclusively retain their proprietary data.
