Through various discussions and growing interest at regional events, it is apparent that the sector is increasingly focused on the importance of gender equality in agriculture. In response, Grow Asia has identified an opportunity to convene the industry around this topic and drive a solutions-­focused dialogue aimed at addressing the unique challenges being faced by female smallholders to develop more inclusive ways of working. 

At the sidelines of the 2017 Responsible Business Forum in Jakarta, Grow Asia convened a roundtable discussion which brought together more than 30 partners with a specific interest in women in agriculture to identify opportunities for action. This report captures key insights from the roundtable discussion.
