This report is a scoping study of the palm and coconut sugar sector in Southeast Asia, with a focus on Indonesia, Philippines and Cambodia, and an overview on Myanmar. The primary purpose of the study is to better inform the decision making of Grow Asia partners around developing their coconut/palm sugar value chains. The study also identifies the market opportunity for the products both regionally and internationally, and brings to light developments in good production practices that are enabling the systems to become more modernized and productive.
